Wm French Standard Operating Procedure Changes:

1. Prior to client’s trip to St. Louis:
  • Relocation Director Julie Brown will initiate client contact and discuss all of their needs and wants.
  • An agent is assigned to the client and will recieve a complete overview of the client needs.
  • The assigned agent will have a comprehensive discussion with the client about their community and housing requirements. Then they will thoroughly research the market, sending all information virtually to the assignee for their review. Once received the agent will have extensive discussions about plans and directions in preparation for their St. Louis visit.
  • Any research or lifestyle/cultural questions will be done by our manager of marketing and communications, Brianna Colona. She will then send the research virtually to the client.
  • The agent will conduct video tours where available via FaceTime, Zoom, or virtual recordings to reduce social contact and assist with decision making prior to arrival.
  • Binder review of St. Louis statistics and all contractual information etc. will be sent to the client prior to coming to St. Louis. We will no longer have a sit-down presentation but will instead handle it virtually.
2. St. Louis visit:
  • Our intent during a client’s visit to St. Louis is to truncate the process as much as possible and to accommodate as much social distancing as we can.
  • Clients will drive in a separate vehicle during home showings and communicate with their agent via cell phone.
  • During showings, the agent will enter the property first and will disinfect doorknobs, handles, and other frequently touched items. Then they will then invite the client inside to see the property while keeping a minimum 6 ft. social distance.
  • A doorhanger will be placed on the front door by the agent after the clients have entered that states: “home tour in progress! Please wait outside until we depart and practice social distancing”.
3. Contracts and Closing
  • Dotloop allows clients to digitally sign paperwork to complete contracts.
  • Many of our vendors (title companies, lenders, etc.) have been quick to accommodate virtual closings.
